Board-Certified Representation | More Than 200 Jury Trials

Norgard, Norgard & Chastang represents people facing a wide range of felony and misdemeanor charges. We have considerable experience in all areas of criminal defense. Board-certified in criminal trial practice by The Florida Bar since 1995, Robert (Bob) Norgard has defended clients in more than 200 jury trials, including more than 70 murder trials. When advising a client, Bob explains the legal process and provides a frank evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of the case.

Cory Chastang is also board-certified in criminal trial practice by The Florida Bar. His criminal law career began on the prosecutor’s side for seven years. Three of those years were spent as a division chief. His range of knowledge has been developed through ample experience in a range of cases — from simple possession of marijuana to first-degree murder.

We conduct an active criminal appeals practice, representing clients in direct appeals. Andrea Norgard has handled hundreds of appellate cases in state courts in Florida, earning a reputation for comprehensive legal research skills and clear, compelling argumentation. Andrea also has experience in handling federal appeals.

We also have a very active post-conviction relief practice for clients who need to look at possible relief after the direct appeal. Both Bob and Andrea have handled numerous post-conviction cases. They will work together on your case, utilizing their respective skills to try to help you.

Whatever the nature of your case, Norgard, Norgard & Chastang will represent you with passion, skill and determination. When you retain our firm, you will have confidence knowing that an experienced and determined advocate is working hard for you.
